New Home Construction

From slab to ceiling. Tidy panels, room to grow the load later, and lighting planned around how each room gets used.

Renovations

Additions, basement finishes, kitchen overhauls. We bring older Victoria wiring up to code and add what the new space needs.

Secondary Suites

Mortgage helpers and in-law suites. We handle the separation, smoke alarms, and metering, and coordinate the inspection so it passes.

When the power goes out, the essentials stay on: lights, fridge, well pump, heat. Transfer switches and generator-ready panels sized to the loads that matter.

Service calls & troubleshooting

Something broken? Skip the quote.

Dead circuits, tripping breakers, warm outlets, flickering lights. Service calls are billed hourly with a two-hour minimum, which covers the drive out and picking up materials. Usually the fastest thing we can fit in.

A locally owned electrical shop in Victoria

Peak Electrical Contracting has served Victoria, BC since 2021, on residential builds and renovations, commercial fit-outs, EV charger installs, panel upgrades and service calls.

Peak is a locally owned company with our own crew of electricians. Small enough to get the details right, big enough to meet your deadlines. We do service calls, renovations, and full custom builds all over Victoria, and we keep you informed from the quote to the final inspection.

FAQ

How fast can you start?

It depends on the season and the size of the job. Service calls are usually the quickest to schedule. Panel upgrades, renovations and new construction depend on permit timing and crew availability. Tell us your timeline when you request a quote. If we’re booked up we’ll say so, and tell you when we can realistically start.

What areas do you serve?

Victoria and the surrounding communities, south of the Malahat. Saanich, Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, View Royal, Langford, Colwood, Metchosin, Highlands, Sidney, North Saanich, Central Saanich, Sooke and surrounding areas. Outside the area? Ask us. It depends on the job.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. TSBC Licence #LEL0210207, WorkSafeBC in good standing, Skilled Trades BC registered employer. Fully insured and bonded. Happy to send the paperwork if you want to see it.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes for any work that requires them. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and coordinate with the inspector. It’s part of the job, not an extra you chase.

Do you do small jobs and service calls?

Yes. Service calls have a two-hour labor minimum. Most small jobs fit within that.
